    How can I update my membership data?

    Log in to the Shilla Rewards website as a member and go to My Page before selecting Edit My Profile to update your membership data.
    Please note that your name and address can only be updated by contacting our Membership Center.

    Call our Membership Center or use Inquiries on the Shilla Rewards page of our website to do the update.

    How can I use a room upgrade coupon?

    A room upgrade coupon is offered as either Gold (two for the next level up or one for a suite) or Diamond (four for the next level up or one for a suite) depending on your membership tier.


    ※ This coupon is offered when your membership is upgraded.

    1. Log in to the Hotel Shilla mobile app as a member, select Coupon Box and then My Coupons to view your coupon number. Call Room Reservations at the hotel where you have booked a room and indicate your intention to use the coupon.

    2. Produce your coupon at the front desk at the time of check-in.

    ※ The coupon is only usable when the room reservation is made through Hotel Shilla’s booking department or via its official website (PC or mobile).
    ※ The coupon is offered exclusively when your membership tier is upgraded and is usable for one room only no matter how many rooms you may book. It cannot be used on top of other benefits.

    How can I view and/or use mobile coupons?

    Mobile coupons are issued via Hotel Shilla's mobile app.

    1) Search for Hotel Shilla on Google Play Store (for Android) or App Store (for iOS) and download the mobile app.
    2) Log in to the app as a Shilla Rewards member and click on Coupon Box.
    3) Choose a coupon from the list to view its details.


    [How to use your mobile coupons]
    1) A room upgrade coupon can be used, as before, by communicating its number to our Room Reservations at the time of your reservation. Produce your mobile coupon at the front desk at check-in to redeem it.
    2) Other coupons intended for our individual hotels do not require prior indication of your intention to use them and can be redeemed by showing them to the front desk clerk at check-in. Please note that coupons can only be redeemed at check-in. They are not redeemable at or after check-out.

    How can Shilla Rewards points can be earned?

    1. For the use of rooms


    1) Communicate your Shilla Rewards membership number to our Room Reservations or the front desk, as appropriate, at the time of reservation.
    2) Points will be earned at around 9 on the day immediately following your check-out.
    3) Points to be earned correspond to 3 % (or 1%) of the amount you actually pay for your room (or F&B), less tax.


    ※ Points will only be earned when the room reservation is made under the name of a Shilla Rewards member.
     
    2. For use of F&B


    1) Communicate your Shilla Rewards membership number to the employee of the retailer when you make the payment on the site and you will receive your points on the following day. No points will be earned if you do not produce your membership number.


    ※ The foregoing provision still applies even if you are a paying member. If you learn that points you are entitled to have not been earned, let us know after reading the relevant instructions on how to make a request for updating your balance of points in the FAQs on the Shilla Rewards page.

    How many points are earned based on the price of a room package?

    For a room package, points will be earned based on the room rate and the F&B charge you pay in total, each according to the respective rate of earning, minus tax.


    ① Room: Your payment for the room after tax and F&B charges (i.e. charges for F&B and/or any restaurant room charge offered as part of the breakfast and/or package) will be used to calculate the points to be earned according to your membership tier.
    ② F&B: Your payment after tax and room rate (①) will be used to calculate the points to be earned according to your membership tier.

    What are the operating hours of the Shilla Rewards Membership Center?

    Our Shilla Rewards Membership Center is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays (Monday to Friday) and is closed on weekends and holidays.

    Where can I view my level score?

    Your level score can be viewed by logging on to the Shilla Rewards website or mobile app as a member and selecting My Page.

    - Call our Membership Center or use Inquiries on our website's Shilla Rewards page to find your level score.
    - Your membership tier will be upgraded immediately when your score reaches the threshold. Your upgraded level will remain valid until the end of the following year.
    - Retention or downgrading of your membership tier occurs on the first week of January every year based on your spending with us for the last year regardless of the date when you became a member.
    For example, if you become a member on May 1, 2022, retention or downgrading of your membership tier will occur at the beginning of January, 2023, based on your spending with us between January 1 to December 31, 2022.

    The Shilla Rewards membership website was launched in June 2017 after renovation and adopted mobile membership cards to provide greater convenience to our members and ensure that their membership details are up to date.


    - Your mobile membership card can be accessed by logging in to your mobile website or Hotel Shilla mobile app as a member and selecting My Page.
    - Be sure to produce your mobile card to earn or redeem points.

    How can I become a Shilla Rewards member?

    You can become a Shilla Rewards member online or in person free of charge.


    1. Online
    Go to the Hotel Shilla website and click on “Join” to become a member.

    A membership number is issued immediately after you are accepted as a member.
    If you have booked a room before you become a member, contact your hotel's booking department, and let them know your membership number so that your membership data can be associated with your reservation.


    2. In Person
    You can become a member at any of our hotels’ front desks by filling out a form. A membership number and a temporary card will be issued immediately after you become a member.
    Go to our website and select “Register online account” at the bottom of the login page. You can log in using your membership number indicated on the card, instead of an ID.


    3. You can view your mobile card by logging in to our mobile website or the Hotel Shilla app as a member and selecting My Page.

    What's the difference between registering my online account and becoming a member online?

    You need to register your online account if:


    1) You were a member of our old membership program (Gold Club, Dynasty) and have applied to become a Shilla Rewards member; or
    2) You filled out a form at our hotel's front desk to become a Shilla Rewards member.
    A temporary password will be issued after you provide your Shilla Rewards number given to you,

    your name in English and email address.

    Becoming an online member means that you are applying to be a new member from our website.

    A membership number will be issued immediately after you are accepted as a member.

    How many points will I earn?

    Points corresponding to 3% of your room rate and 1% of your F&B payment will be earned

    The foregoing percentage depends on your membership tier and applies to the amount you pay in final, less tax.

    What room products are not eligible for points?

    Pursuant to Article 6.3 of Shilla Rewards’ Terms of Use, no points will be earned for the following.


    (1) Wholesale room rates, complimentary rooms, House Use rooms, special rates for the Company’s employees, family rates, and reservations made through a travel agent.
    (2) Rates not included in the contract.
    (3) Stays whose rates are paid by organizations and associations.
    (4) Payment for Samsung gift certificates; payment of your membership fee.
    (5) Payment at a leased-out retailer within our hotel.
    (6) Internet, mini-bar, pay-per-view TV, room cell phone charges, room phone charges, temporary bed rental fees, payment for retail products, taxes, amounts paid to use the business center, laundry costs, transportation expenses, payment for the fitness club, payment for F&B consumed at The Shilla Seoul Urban Island, banquet expenses, no-show costs and penalties for cancellation of a room reservation.
    (7) Retail or promotional items purchased from our F&B retailer (e.g. eco bag, keyring, wines, etc.).
    (8) Membership vouchers (complimentary room vouchers offered when you become a member of Shilla S, Blue Club, Premium Blue, etc.).

    No points will be earned for:


    1) Your spending with us before you become a member.
    2) Your purchase of room products not eligible for points.

    <How to make a request for updating your balance of points>


    1) Log in to our website as a Shilla Rewards member and select My Page.

    3) Make a request for an update by providing the name of the hotel, the name of the retailer you used, and a photo of the relevant receipt.


    * For the use of an F&B retailer, no points will be earned if a valid receipt is not provided.


    ※ Ensure that any file to be attached is no bigger than 5 MB.


    - Corresponding points will be added by our Membership Center to your balance of points within one to two weeks from your request for an update.
    - You will be notified in detail via email of what happened to your request and what has been done.
